Christmas Gift Guide
This is the season of giving special and meaningful gifts to the people we love the best! I have pulled together a list of my favorite things! Included are thoughtful and fun ideas to spark joy and nourish the mind, body and soul!
Savor Chef Apron
A friend who knows me so well, and is hands-down the best gift-giver I know, showed up at my door with this apron. It has officially become my uniform! I love that it is heavy-duty and can stand up to my kitchen mischief, but I especially love its message. I feel like it was written just for me. Here is just the first line: I come alive in the kitchen. Food is my art. I nurture my soul by nourishing others. The apron is a soulful manifesto!
Oura Ring
This is an investment, but one that David and I have seriously witnessed the health benefits. I have a history of sleep issues, and the Oura ring has helped me understand what I need to do to get optimum sleep to feel the best. It tracks my heart rate, physical activity, REM and deep sleep, and even my body temperature! One thing I have learned after having worn the ring for six months is that my best sleep happens between 10-12 pm, which is hard for me! I am usually a worker bee burning the night oil!
Flashlight Night By Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Best children’s book of the year!
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is an acclaimed best-selling author and a dear friend. She has written a multitude of bestsellers, but I am especially proud of her first children’s book, Flashlight Night. I have seen the real-life chalkboard, covered in prayers and hopes! Her message of God’s presence with us and always is exactly what I and my children need to hear after this past year. Hope jumps right off the page! She has given us all a gift. Make sure you add this one to your family library!
Karen Lazar bracelet
My husband gifted me with this special heart bracelet in rose gold, and I wear it rain, sleet, shine, shower! I am a sucker for a heart!
Food 52 X GreenPan Nonstick Skillet (Set of 2)
If there was a fire in the house, I would grab these two pans! I use them every single day for scrambled eggs, french toast, chicken piccata, pancakes and crepes. I love the color and gold handle! And they clean up beautifully!
Serene House Electric Diffuser
This gift saved me during quarantine with six kids, husband and four dogs. Every morning, I fill it with an abundance of lavender drops and let it run all day long! The smell of lavender calms me, and I love how it looks in my kitchen.
Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Heathered Adult Robe
If only I could live in Barefoot Dreams luxury all day long. Once you have this robe, there is no turning back!!
Demeyere Stainless Steel Egg Poacher & 1.5QT Skillet
2020 will be the year of the poached egg at the Mason household. Last Christmas, we traveled to New Zealand for my husband’s work and to fulfill numero uno on our bucket list! I think the Kiwis live off of poached eggs and avocado! When we returned home, it became a science project to master the perfect poached egg! I was unsuccessful until I found this gem! I’m not sure there is any better breakfast than two slices of sourdough toast slathered in Kerry Gold grassfed butter, topped with avocado and poached eggs!
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy
I recently watched an interview with the author and I immediately purchased a copy for each of my children, and one for myself. Messages of hope never get old!!!!!
Love, Farrell
