Welcome

Welcome to the launch of BreadandHoneyblog.net! First, I would like to thank all of you for joining me on this journey, rather a spiritual pilgrimage to discover more of the sacred in life. Each stepping stone or blog post is my humble attempt to move one step further down life’s path in search of truth, meaning, glimpses of God, and a deeper experience of the sacred in this secular world in which we live. J.K. Rowling, the acclaimed author of the Harry Potter series, once said that she writes to understand or figure out what she believes in. I pray my spiritual musings, my seeking, my ever-stretching faith will in some way inspire your own journey or at the least encourage a little more of the sacred and the holy in your own life. But most importantly, I pray that BreadandHoney will nourish your spirit and inspire you to Live in Hope!

Every week I will write a post under the headings of either the Mind, the Body, or the Spirit. Following are three examples of what you can expect each week from breadandhoneyblog.net. For most of you that know me, you know of my commitment and passion for raising funds, awareness, and especially hope for kids with cancer. This is the ten year anniversary that my son was diagnosed with the pediatric cancer, Neuroblastoma. To celebrate this milestone, I have written a story entitled Alma Gloria and the Olive Tree. You can purchase it through the Bread and Honey site or on Amazon.com and all of the proceeds will go to Memorial Sloan Kettering Pediatric Cancer Center in honor of my son, Charlie!

I am humbled by your support and enthusiasm and will do my best to nourish your mind, your body, and your soul on breadandhoneyblog.net and with my book, Alma Gloria and the Olive Tree.

Live in Hope,

Farrell
