Soulful 7 Conversations is back! One of the highlights of the launch of my new book, SOULFULL has been the opportunity to sit down and have meaningful conversation with people I greatly admire. Kari Kampakis is top top on the list. Our connection was instantaneous! We have talked for hours about motherhood, parenting, the writing life, our evolving faiths, finding hope again after loss, and the daily necessity to experience joy. This sacred conversation took place in Birmingham, AL sitting in her dining room, with the most beautiful view out her window. If my friend Anne had not called for me to show up at my book signing, we would have talked into the wee hours of the morning. For all of you in Kari’s fan club, those who have read her books, heard her speak in your hometown, or are regular listeners to her wildly popular podcast, let me tell you that she’s even warmer, brighter, and kinder in person!
