A couple of weeks ago, I was invited by the fashion brand Veronica Beard to host a “soulfull” gathering at their store in Nashville to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The brand was created by two exceptional women who both happen to share the name Veronica and are sisters-in-law. I admire the company’s mission to lift up women and their creative pursuits and financially give back to causes that support women and children. Not only are they gifting a copy of SOULFULL to those who come, but they are also donating 15% of all the proceeds from Valentine’s Day to a cause that is very important to me.

The Covenant School shooting on March 27th, 2023 forever changed me and my community of Nashville. The Evelyn Dieckhaus Shining Light Fund was created to “move mountains and hearts” so that our kids could go to school and be protected from gun violence. I am blown away by Veronica Beard’s generosity. They will donate 15% of all the proceeds from the event to The Evelyn Dieckhaus Shining Light fund.

You know how I love to see and speak the word “Hope!” Veronica Beard also invited me to create a design in Evelyn’s honor to be embroidered on clothes. Evie Coates, my friend and the artist behind the beautiful cover for SOULFULL created this design.

The celebrated embroiderer, Tilly Goose, will be onsite to embroider the hope logo on a t-shirt, inside a blazer, or on the pocket of a jean at the store on Valentine’s Day. It’s such a creative and meaningful gesture. I just love the visual reminder to holdfast to hope in all circumstances.

You know I couldn’t host a party without a little French love! Little Gourmand will be there with chocolate!!

I am excited for Katy Dieckhaus to introduce me. I will read from SOULFULL ( a word of hope is always a good thing!) and answer some questions!

For those who do not live in Nashville but would love “Live in Hope” or “Soul Full” emblazoned on a Veronica Beard T-shirt or another piece of clothing, please email me. I will be posting on instagram a sample of the embroidery from Tilly Goose.

I really hope you can stop by Veronica Beard in Green Hills from 11-1 on Valentine’s Day. I would love to see you.  Kindly RSVP to Nashville@veronicabeard.com

Have a blessed week!
